The front engine kart on the right was built by Duffy Livinstone based on a Puch Twingle motor (twin piston single) Duffy was a pioneer in Hot Rodding and karting. He passed in 2017 but left behind a legacy like none other.
Another pioneer and recognized inventor of the go kart was Art Ingles, he and Lou Borelli built the first kart from scrap. Art was working for Kurtis Race cars at the time. Unfortunately, karting doesn't get any recognition for the important role it played in motor sports here in the US and abroad.
