Cool things with wheels since 2006
Why the hell can't they map a store with an app? Or put a map on a website?
That's a great idea. It would sure make things easier to find them walking around aimlessly looking for stuff. Then remember when you get home, "I FORGOT THE...!" I just hate that when that happens.
Amen to that. Nine times out of ten when I'm at a grocery store I'm not there to 'shop' I'm there to hunt it down, pay for it and leave.
Because they want you to walk every aisle so you see things that you can't resist and buy even though you didn't come in for them in the first place. All part of their marketing strategy. It's why stores periodically re-arrange everything, they know you'll get used to where things are and they won't get so many impulse buys. Mix things up again and bingo, shoppers once again have to do the trawl around, buying things they neither wanted or needed on the way.
astute observation, well said. My local grocery store just made a LOT of money since March, when customers were clearing off the shelved every day, and since then, tripling the normal amount of shopping due to working from home, restaurants closed, etc.... anyway, first they fixed the old floors, then moved the damn items around. Not all of them, just a few aisles got rearranged. I don't like it. Not one bit (of the rearranging) the floors did turn out great though
