What about Starsky and Hutch? The ugliness lies within the fact that it's a four door (like almost all cars and suv's today), not because of 70's styling.
The Starsky and Hutch car was a Gran Torino, good looking mostly from the addition of the great big and klittle tires, choice of slotted mag rims, that white swoop paint stripe, and I didn't even notice this one has 3 doors.... I was looking at the grill and headlights.
Yes, one the "Lee" sisters. The closest the 73 Torino came to cool was being in a chase scene in "Hooper."
