Thanks Steve!

  1. That is the single greatest invention I've seen in the last decade. No idea how many times in my life I've made do with what I had and scooched around under a car in a gravel driveway. Could have rented that for a couple of days and been done Instead of struggling for a week to swap a transmission.

I hope whoever came up with that has a really nice house on the really nice beach of their choice.

    1. omg... gravel driveways just suck when you get a big pointy stone or two poking you in the spine, or the back of your head, no matter how many pieces of cardboard I laid down.
Well, I'm impressed as hell about this rig..... it would be pretty damn cool for a car club or small town with a community car center.
Which gives me an idea,.... in my retirement years, to find some good old service station with a couple garage bays, and rent them out for 10 bucks an hour where I provide my own tools for the use of anyone that needs to work on their own vehicles, 5 an hour for grandpas helping their grandkids, free to granddaughters who show with a grandparent to help them out. Hell, I've got the tools, enough for several people to use all at the same time, and even have one engine stand I bought from Don Lenco when he had to yard sale out a shop he'd let a manager run, right into the ground.
Anyway, back in my Navy days, I used the base auto hobby shops everywhere I was stationed, and miss the garage atmosphere where friendly guys hung out and helped out. Orlando, Groton Ct, Hickam AFB and Pearl Harbor, San Diego, and Pt Loma (San Diego)
