Parked cars blocking beach accesses prevented first responders (EMTs) from being able to reach the drowning person. SO, spread the word, and call the damn tow truck if some assholes are too damn lazy to park legally and walk to the beach. Save a life, it may be your kid's

A post on the Oak Island (North Carolina) Water Rescue Facebook page says that just after 2:00 p.m., several agencies responded to a call about a person in the water struggling to make it back to shore. The responding agencies included Oak Island Water Rescue, Fire Department and Police Department along with Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol and the U.S. Coast Guard.

First responders tried to access the area by using the W. 23rd Street Beach Access but were unsuccessful due to parked vehicles blocking their way.

I hope someone gets revenge on anyone blocking any beach access, and saves lives, by bringing a tow truck company rig, or repo truck rig, and dragging every vehicle away from every beach access. Leave those jackasses vehicles somewhere a mile or so away.
