A jet ski, without trailer, is about 12 thousand. Just for a price comparison... and since I've never used a jet ski, I don't know what you need to do about registration, or if an operator license is required.
In Ohio, jet skis have to be registered like a boat, but then again, so do kayaks. I would see this Shuttle Bike competing with a dedicated water bike, with the advantage that you can use your regular mountain bike and carry the inflatable floats with you. Jet skis and Sea Doo type watercraft go much faster, so I think they are in a different target audience.
