Not the the tail section of a B-52, it'a a nose section of a Russian T 104. Well, my source was wrong. But my readers are quick to correct a mistake, and even (as requested in the new rules) provide an example of what really is the thing that was erroneously named (Thanks Robert M!)

  1. Actually it's the navigator's seat of a Soviet era Tupolev 104 passenger jet. Looks old and worn in a nice steampunkish way....

  2. Well now, not sure that it a "B-52". Looks more like a heavily modified B-29 nose interior. But what ever, cool as cool can be. Almost steam punk-ish.

  5. I like the photo of the Tupolev, it has a Norman Rockwell look to it, you expect to see a harried navigator with a pencil on his ear, charts on the table and a sextant in his hand.

  6. Yeah see, I knew it couldn't be a '52' tail section. A Tupolev ah. Now I want one. What a cool fuselage to trans form into something mobile for the Burning Man gig.
