You used to be able to grab these at auction pretty cheap. But over the last seven or eight they've gone thru the roof. In reality you can't buy a COE in this condition and with ultra low miles any better as opposed to buying some old work horse that's sat rusting out in a field for 20 or 30 years. And they do still come up at auction but thru the availability of the internet and on-line auctions the days of bargains are long gone.
