you'd have to have a really heavy grudge against Ferrari to sell all of yours, but that's what Sebastian Vettel is doing. They fired him, and now all 5 of his will be auctioned off, his F50, Enzo, LaFerrari, F12tdf and a 458 Speciale.

  1. Seems like an unforgiving spirit is a part of the Ferrari experience, going all the way back to the ‘Old Man’ himself. Sometime in the very early sixties his wife started hanging out at the factory and soon enough started calling some shots. One of Enzo’s chief engineers took exception and told him it was either him or Mrs. Ferrari. The Old Man wished the guy his best in whatever he would undertake after leaving Ferrari. In 1961 Phil Hill won the F1 World Championship driving the 156 shark nose, a very successful race car. The engineers who created the beauty also became weary of Mrs. Ferrari and they also parted company with Ferrari, along with Phil Hill. They started their own company ATS, which included a F1 car that was, unfortunately, not very successful. Out of spite, Ferrari ordered the entire stable of 156s to be destroyed and scrapped. At least Vettel has the sense to take a more judicious course.
