The island of Lanai is 140 sq miles... and has an airport, and a Four Seasons. That hotel has Teslas to transports hotel guests to and from the airport. They have "ludicrous mode" capability, but it's blocked, because the island has a 45 mph speed limit.

There are only about 30 miles of paved road on Lanai, and only 3000 residents

fwiw, I was stationed at Pearl Harbor for 4 years, and like the island... it's quite different from anywhere else I've lived, Fla, Ct, Tx, Mi, Wa, Ca.
