While in the Navy and attending Engineman A-School in Great Lakes Il (1976), The Navy was selling Ambulances, complete and running, for between $250- $500. Just one problem, they wouldn't sell them to active duty personnel because they didn't want them on bases. Still kinda pisses me off.
