Why does this carry a spare wheel? It's not going to be used.... unless this gets reverted back to wheels. Until then, the spare would be logically stored with the wheels that used to be on this Jeep

  2. A friend of mine works for Dana, travelling around with these vehicles. I saw this picture on his Facebook page. They had the wheels on this truck earlier in the week. The same black GMC truck is in the background.

  3. My theory is that the tracks bolt to the hub like the wheel would. Very hard to carry an extra track/mechanism as a spare. So I would assume if he had an issue on the trail, the track could be swapped with the wheel and could still drive home. Looks like the radius of the wheel would be the same as the track from hub to ground
