Marc! Dang, no love for the car guy blog, you posted to Stiffspeed instead?


Update July 2023, 

I just got an email from Mark, he owned this in 1972 when he just graduated from secondary school (age 18), after Champion sold it, and drove it from the UK to Afghanistan with 3 friends! 

It was a standard LWB Series IIA, petrol 2.25l engine

    I stole this from Automobile Magazine's Instagram. I've never seen this Champion vehicle before. If I think about it, I'll ask one of my old coworkers in the UK if they know anything about it.
