Salute to Education is a San Diego Ford dealership association scholarship for high school graduates, they've given away 23 cars in total, over 20 years. 2 cars were given away last year, in addition to the thousand dollar scholarships.

This has nothing to do with grades. This is about a written essay that a high school senior writes, about life so far, challenges and obstacles overcome, or community services.
Salute to Educationʼs main purpose is to encourage students to continue their educations, whether it be at a vocational/technical school, junior college or university.
