there were a LOT of 60s Broncos at SEMA

  1. You probably already know this, but the beat-up red Bronco is Dave Chappelle's—the co-host of the now cancelled Dirt Every Day. If I had a Bronco, that's the look I'd go for.

    1. I didn't know that! Thank you! There are not many vehicles that have a sign saying who owns them, or what has been done to them. As you can see in the area around that red Bronco, there is no sign on it, or near it.
Also, I don't watch any tv with commercials, so, no Discovery channel shows.
Thanks for the info though, I'll try to remember to look up the show and add a link here!

  2. Dirt Every Day was on the MotorTrend channel, so there were no commercials (thankfully). You can look up a couple of the seasons on YouTube. It started out there and then was brought into MT after a couple of years. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGGRAXhxZVA

    1. Ah, well, I don't waste money on Cable, as most of it is commercial laden, and I'm not paying for 1/3 of every hour of commercials. If they want me to watch repetitious commercials for hours of programming, day after day, week after week, they can make the cable access free, or pay me, or make the commercials amazing.
Hell, I repost amazing commercials, just to share how good they are.
Maybe MotorTrend TV is a streaming service, I don't know. I haven't ever looked, as I've never heard of any show on that network being interesting enough to watch
I had a subscription to MT in the early 90s, and then they quit being interesting, they had Motor Trend Classic magazine, which was incredible, I subscribed to, and posted about it, in 2007 and 2014 https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search?q=motor+trend+classic... and they continued to piss me off by cancelling that great magazine, and forcing me to accept whatever garbage they also published that I would use for toilet paper, when they killed Motor Trend Classic.

    2. Motor Trend TV has Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Hot Rod Garage, Chasing Classic Cars, Wheeler Dealers and a lot of other car-related shows. If I have some time to watch TV, it's the first channel I usually check to see what it showing.

I was trying to watch all of the Roadkill episodes in order on YouTube, but then they were moved to the MT App, with a monthly fee. Now I just watch whatever episodes happen to be on if I am flipping around the TV.

    3. yeah, they have exploded how many tv shows are just about car stuff, but I don't have the time to watch all that.
      I simply avoid it.
Just like Jalopy Journal, Jalopnik, and Hemmings, there is too much to keep up with, and I won't even try. I think I do better with a larger variety of stuff I watch (for entertainment) and sites I look at for news and content to repost
