GREAT news! One of my favorite tv shows is coming back! An all-new season of DIRTY JOBS premieres Sunday, January 2 at 8 PM ET/PT on Discovery and streaming on discovery+.

for an interview, just look at this next video

I’m excited and honored to introduce the country to a new batch of hardworking Americans who aren’t afraid to get dirty. Also, I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year.”

The return of DIRTY JOBS allows Mike to come back for another chance to take on the jobs he's been dreaming about since the show's first run from 2005 to 2013.

Whether it’s a water tower cleaner, escalator maintainer, combat surgeon, or epoxy installer, each episode showcases the unsung heroes and the communities that rely on these essential jobs. Mike will also lend a hand to those on the frontlines protecting the nation from invasions, even when it involves glowing scorpions or destructive iguanas.

“Every now and then, the headlines catch up to a TV show and make it relevant in ways that no one imagined. With essential work in the news, it’s impossible not to think of DIRTY JOBS, and for the last year, people have asked me every day if the show would make a comeback. Today I’m happy to say the answer is yes. In other words, just when I thought I was out, they sucked me back in!” Mike Rowe said.

The upcoming season of DIRTY JOBS finds Mike getting back to work and getting his hands even dirtier than before. He'll be heading deep into the southern bayous as well as high up in America’s remote Badlands. The dirtier the job, the better, as Mike tackles each job with his typical candid, no-nonsense take and wry sense of humor.

"Don't try this at home," he advises.

"We don't do second takes, we don't do a lot of planning, we don't do a lot of scouting, there's no scripting, there's no writing, there's no actors," Rowe later adds to the cameras. "It's an honest look at work through the lens of an honest day."
