The Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Wa. was the site of the West coast introduction of the 1914 Ford models. Ford went to a lot of trouble to get the center door on the upper balcony in the hotel lobby! A rope or cable can be seen that is attached to the front axle. The guy at the wheel is there to steer and use the brakes.
