military veteran-led Team Rubicon is helping people devastated by hurricanes

Disasters can happen anywhere at any time. Team Rubicon exists to provide the greatest service and impact to survivors and communities in need, no matter where. Simply put, they help people on their worst days.

During the 2017 World Series, T-Mobile donated $20,000 for every home run that was hit and $2 for every tweet including the #HR4HR hashtag up to $500,000 toward Team Rubicon’s hurricane relief and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico, Texas and Florida.

The wireless carrier is running a similar initiative for MLB’s 2018 regular season, donating at least $1 million to Team Rubicon—$1 for every tweet and Instagram post with the #HatsOff4Heroes hashtag throughout the season.

The wireless carrier said it has raised more than $4 million to support Team Rubicon since the start of the 2017 MLB postseason.

T-Mobile is also continuing its Text to Give initiative, enabling its customers to donate directly to victims of Hurricane Florence by texting Florence to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross, texting Florence to 501501 to donate $10 to United Way South Carolina or texting Hurricane to 20222 to donate $25 to Save the Children.
