  1. I've done this with good quality plastic tool boxes with room to spare for some small, secured tool items. They need to be vented though, I don't see any vents in that photo unless they're in the rear. It makes a nice, clean set up. Welding cable works best for the relocation leads.

  2. What is with the metal strap holding the battery down? Seems a little close to the positive & negative posts.

    1. It's a lot more than is needed, but, that's not the smartest design. It's probably safe until vibrations caused by driving eventually rub the insulation off the positive clamp. Hey, not my issue. The tool box is damn cool though.
