  1. Well,that has me wondering! Obviously it is a long time ago,but I look at the flashlight and wonder if it's shopped? Looks very contemporary, battery powered to me.Agree though,stunning sign writing! Is there any info on what "pile wonder" was about? Cheers.

    1. The source for the photo had no information, not even where, when, or what the trucks were made for, by, or delivered. I would post that info if I'd found it.
      I doubt it's photo shopped, because of the incredible poster art I've admired and posted... advertising art is surprisingly well done, just for one example, https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/vintage%20tire%20and%20bike%20advertising

  2. Pile is French for battery. It appears that they had similar artwork on their trucks in the '60s.
