Hugh Ferriss architectural drawings were his versions of other architects work

Instead of designing buildings, he focused on rendering ideas of other architects in form of conte crayon drawings and sketches.

His works are very unique, because of the way he usually presented the designs – the setting, values and perspective. Ferriss drew buildings from a low angle to present them effectively, empowering them. His signature drawings also included dark and moody appearance due to presenting the buildings at night setting with lights from the bottom.

His style could bring out emotional responses from the viewer due to the use of light, casted shadows and the revealed surfaces.

Some of his other work is more impressive, but I posted it a couple years ago. https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2018/09/i-had-not-known-that-hugh-ferriss-had.html

These that I posted here are transportation related, and deserve to get a fresh post instead of added to the posts in the archives that no one is likely to go back and look at randomly
