seen on todays walk about

the guessing game... I think it's a Camaro or Mustang. Not really narrowing it down

Citroen? Unusual to see in San Diego

with the front in the air, it might be to save the tires, or work under it... or prevent it from getting stolen?

very weird to see a trailer in a normal residential, especially one that is gutted.

I love this, it's a dead end side street so far from anywhere, they simply work on the car in the street with a couple cones

here, I went all arsty, and split the photo into blue/green down the middle

ygbfkm right? Staples! Hasn't learned the zip tie cross stitch!!! How in the name of Honda is that even possible?

nice Mustang, new interior, just bad taste in rims. Looks better in person

  2. That is a Citroen SM.
On top of the usual "dark magic" that hydraulically moves suspensions up and down this one has a Maserati sourced V6 under the hood! They are amazing to drive and incredibly comfortable but at the same time they are incredibly hard to bring back when they slide as far down as this one has.

Citroen's hydraulic suspensions are notoriously hard to rebuild and keep running. Add a 70's Maserati engine and you get a true nightmare.

  3. Citroën SM that's some rare gem, it must have a fascinated story because they could not be sold in US because it's very sophisticated suspension that could not meet some US regulations. Those classic Citroën suspensions had been a work of mechanical art, but if they break up... oh boy, you are in the world of sorcery and pain.

    1. oh yeah, there's very little police involvement in anything. Not home zoning, not visual blight... the hoarder houses are nuts! But all the cars that are abandoned? It's ridiculous. I don't even post the many cars that have registrations expired for 2 or 3 years... I try to keep it to just the few that are interesting old cars - and the bimmers that are a freaking trend.
