I never would have guessed anyone would see an axle off a train, rolling down a highway, without any trucker pulled over nearby wondering how the hell he was going to get it back on his trailer

    Oh My God! You know how heavy those things are? Wouldn't want to run into that rolling down the road.

    ever wonder why the railroads hire truckers to haul their rail wheels?

    why dont the railroads do that themselves?
    do they know that trucks are much much faster at getting things transported?
