don't you hate stopping on road trips?

because everyone you've been passing for hours, will now get ahead of you again, and you'll have to pass them all AGAIN

  1. It's a mental race thing on road trips. Makes me sick to get passed while standing still.

  2. I tow my fifth wheel trailer with a Volvo VNL 610 (Over-the-road- tractor). We carry 300 gallons of diesel and get 8-10 MPG depending on wind direction. So conservatively I can run 2,000 miles between fuel stops. I pick stops based on price as we travel around. Since we toddle along at 65 MPH - retired, no hurry - I often see the same cars pass us two or three times during a day on the road. It's a rabbit & turtle kinda thing!
