one of the worst intersection dips I've come across, I swear the city does this to keep people driving 1/2 the speed limit

 

and the gouges prove that this amount of change in elevation is ridiculous. I'd put steel plates in to level the road through the intersection but still allow for flood control (as when it rains, there is no where for the water to go when even inch of ground has been paved over or had a building put on it... when it rains? It's just sitting around until it gravity drains into the gutters
