Michigan State Police received a 911 call regarding a stolen car with a GPS tracker attached. They discovered a car with the stolen vehicle’s registration plate loaded on a commercial car hauler.

During the traffic stop, the truck driver, a resident of Long Beach, California, stated that he recently purchased the semi-tractor trailer and was currently en-route to pick up another vehicle. 

 Troopers also found several vehicles that had been stolen from local police stations — A 2020 Dodge Charger reported stolen out of Warren Police Department, a 2017 Dodge Challenger reported stolen out of Detroit Police Department, and a 2018 Dodge Charger reported stolen of Southfield Police Department were recovered.
