a lot of slow nimble European cars get passed by the car called a Galaxie, maybe because it's so damn big! (fun to watch!)


The 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 was deemed too heavy for drag racing, so Ford produced a limited run of Galaxie 500 Sport Special Tudor Fastbacks in Corinthian White only.

  1. The big Galaxie appeared very composed everywhere, but it was racing against 50HP crackerboxes, so I would expect it to eat them up on the straights. It hardly ever stepped out of line, wondering about the brakes and tires. Nice
