looking at the setback up back in the 40s and 50s, it makes me wonder if they didn't have a better system for a quick oil change than we do now. That oil drain piping is pretty cool!
Actually that's very cool! About seven or eight years ago I did the plumbing on a military TEMF (Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility) building. They still used pits with rolling trays to drain into then used a vacuum system to evacuate the old fluids. One for lubricants and one for anti-freeze. It was pretty cool
