San Francisco has at most, 5 dirt roads. Poppy Lane is one... and google street view only drove it once, and Ohone Way and Penny lane are the other two, but google street view didn't even driving up them

above, looks like a quiant little alleyway, right? Nope. It's an actual city street. I call this, most perfect look for the city's commerce dept. We'll see that this view only happens from the main roads on either end of what seems to be an alleyway, Poppy Lane.

But wait, there's more.

doesn't look quite as cute in this other version from some other time Google street view went out. We'll call this real world San Francisco

anyway, like I was saying, a real dirt road, that is a city street

But when you get to the midway point... it looks like it was a brick road for about the first 50 feet.

and on the east side of Diamond Street

and who ever lives up that brick road, had it covered in the nicest bricks, only to their home.... at the top of this short hill,  and there you have the nicest brick road in San Francisco, which goes on for a mile or more past the top of that hill, all undeveloped and ungraded road, literally looking like a country field now, someone planted a LOT of grass up there recently.

a few more bricks, then it's a two rut dirt road with no homes on the left (uphill)

 And this is the East end of Poppy Lane. Back in 2011 the google street view driver was up for adventure... and dedicated to the job. They went ALLLL the way to the end of the city street.
