Dodge decided that 1971 Swinger 340 was not going to be profitable, so they ended production, but, there were still a couple orders from Canadian dealerships that were waiting to be filled, and those dealerships had a bit of clout, so they pushed, and made Dodge send them what had been ordered.
In 1972, Dodge decided that they weren't going to make any Dart Swinger 340s, but, the two dealerships; Crosstown and Crest View, located in Edmonton, Alberta and Regina Saskatchewan, managed to get the Windsor, Ontario plant to run off a special order batch run of 340 Dart Swingers for the two dealers. 65 of them
