Mercedes was in the news today for contradictory things, excellence, and failure

Mercedes-Benz's latest bonus payout to its employees is even higher than last year's €6,000, this year it's  €7,300, for all 93,000 German employees.

that's the good news. 

Consumer Reports ranks Mercedes-Benz as the least reliable brand, dead last in the 24th spot on the list of all automakers covered by CR in 2022. Due to more reliability issues, the brand fell five spots from 19th place last year.
