This was easy to predict: a week after state regulators voted to ban the sale of gasoline-powered cars, the California electric grid operators tell electric car owners to avoid charging their cars

California's grid operator on Tuesday warned that the excessive heat would stress the energy grid and conservation may be needed over the holiday weekend to avert power outages.

In a news release, the California ISO said it expects that it will issue calls for voluntary conservation of electricity through Flex alerts over the long weekend.

"California recently ruled to ban gas powered cars by 2035 but just put out a warning to 'avoid charging electric vehicles' due to power grid issues and blackouts," The comedians Keith and Kevin Hodge wrote in a tweet.

A former Republican congressional candidate in Tennessee, wrote: "This comes days after California became the first state to ban gas cars by 2035 which means massive pain for the grid there when everyone is forced to drive only electric cars. Toddlers could run a state more competently than Democrats."

By the way, to meet the charging needs of the predicted all electric car sales of 2035, and I am not making this up, 700 electric car chargers would need to be installed, each day, 7 days a week, for the next 8 years.

Currently less than 50 are being installed.

This isn't just a California problem, England has jumped on this same band wagon, and has the same unsolveable predicament that they have put themselves into.

No plan on how to go from gas powered, to zero emissions cars, by the year they have decreed, by law, to no longer allow the sale of internal combustion engines.
