the rarely seen Minneapolis Moline... everyone posts Deere, Farmall, IH, etc... but I'm a fan of the MM designs

That is just FUN to look at

and Brendon figured out why! It's similar to the Pixar tractor in Cars and Cars 3, and a cameo in Planes: Fire & Rescue

are pink four-cylinder, Holstein Heifer Chewall Diesel Powered Axel Chompers.

"The earliest domestication of the North American tractors can be traced back to the 1800s during the construction of the first transcontinental railroad. Railroaders quickly discovered the tractors' ability to create level grades across even the most demanding geography. Today the native plains tractor is regarded as one of the true pioneers of the West."

and in that wonderful (oh I love Pixar) tradition of hiding characters in other movies, one even showed up in Toy Story 3

  1. There's an upscale apartment building called "The Moline" in Hopkins, MN built on the site of a former MM factory. When opened it had a collection of MM tractors (including a few notable rarities) visible to passersby. An interesting incongruity for the fancy-schmancy apartment building. The current website for the apartment doesn't show any tractors but I saw at least a couple the last time I drove past six months ago.
