looks like Jeremy found one of those Plexi Top 1946 Fords, and the woman who owns the car and top is wanting to sell it.

 

notice that the car in the ad, seems to be the same car in the black and white photo below... the rearward spot lights on the back bumper for example... though the license plate and the two horizontal chrome trim pieces are missing

Not the exact same car, but similar. 

As I posted before, these 1/4" plexi glass tops were made by Fabri Form, the company that made the plexiglass noses for bombers in WW2, in Bayseville, Ohio, 

The tops fasten at the same points as regular canvas tops

But of course, neither the top owner, nor Jeremy, know best how to go about that. 

I recommended getting Hagerty or Hemmings, or Bring a Trailer involved.
