the New York Times just published a long article about the 2015 massacre of 9 bikers in Waco, and though avoiding reporting on the cops, and the sharpshooters, that killed the bikers, it's in depth on the aftermath of the killings, and what the bikers had to deal with to get out of jail

 https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/23/magazine/waco-biker-shootout.html

9 dead, 20 wounded, and 7 years later - there has only been one trial, and all the cases against bikers have been dropped. But there are 130 cases filed against the former DA, Reyna, for civil rights violations.

No one has been convicted of any crime.

The Time article takes about 20 minutes to read, and when you're done, you still won't feel you've learned anything new that has an analytical, or over view approach to why the cops were sitting in sniper seats, ready to shoot and kill. You won't get the feeling you've got a handle on what's going on with Texas bikers gangs, or what's next in the court cases that were the result of a couple hundred bikers getting arrested for I still don't know what... being in Texas with a gun, where that's not only legal, it's normal in church.

Thanks Kim!

  1. I saw a CNN blip that claimed "The" Black Widows MC was en route with grenades and firearms to ambush police . En route from Pacoima no doubt .
