well, how has this never been mentioned before?

 

that Ferrari looks a lot like it's been copied, or at the least was the inspiration for the Vega

  3. Except, that's it's a 1975-80 Chevy Monza not a Vega. Oh, and the Ferrari was produced from 1968-73.

  10. That is actually a Chevy Monza, which 'may' have been the based off the Vega platform.

  11. I never thought about the name Monza, but it is a city and race track in Italy, and Ferrari is from Italy. Chevrolet may have trying to cash in on the Monza's design being "inspired" by a Ferrari. However, the Monza actually looks more like the 365 GTC/4, especially in the greenhouse / B-pillar and rear end styling. (I tried to find a picture of the 365 GTC/4 on JACG, but I didn't see one)
