I haven't ever seen a Willys from this angle before

I thought it was a shark nosed Graham, but was corrected.

So, a 39 Willys?

RLK says this in the comments, which is great info!:

The Graham ‘Sharknose’ first appeared in the model year 1938 product.

The design is attributed to a fellow named Amos Northup and Graham engineers.

Northup passed away before his work was complete, so Graham engineers put the finishing touches on it. Amos left us in February of 1937, so most of the design had to have been cut in stone considering it was for the 1938 model.

The interesting thing---to me---is that the guy was employed as Chief Designer at Willys-Overland beginning in 1928.

Northup designed the 1937 Willys, which bears a fundamental likeness to the Sharknose, as does the image above.

How/when he transitioned to work for Graham is another story, one I’m not privy to.
