seems like nose art had to give way to politically correct bullshit once mommys (AKA, what if the children see that and are scarred for life?) ot to looking at the flight line for offensive imagery, and now it's behind the door

my point of view is that military bases are the reservation for those who've volunteered to kill the enemy for the protection of their countries civilians.

All the bullshit PC stuff and censorship ought to be unwelcome on any military base of any country on the planet.

Like the ban on tattoos that can be seen when in uniform. What the actual fuck does that have to do with the effectiveness of anyone at their job? But now soldiers, sailors, and marines can't have a tat on their arms? PC bullshit

Not that recent military history has much relevance, but back when the draft was in effect, and big numbers of men were sent to kill or die for the USA, there was a lot less effort to make a military safe for the wandering eyes of kids.

Go back in history about 150 years ago, when it was a lot more survival based living, there were public hangings, and beheadings. Many more wild west gunfights too. Life was hard, and cheap. And no one gave much of a damn about "but what about the children?" And they didn't have to hide the realities of life from kids, and kids weren't on prescription drugs, concerned about being non-binary liberal idiots
