Don Russell was in the United States Air Force. He and his family lived in Rapid City, and he had bought the wagon new from Rapid Chevrolet.
He drove it to California and back, hauling his camper, drove it through college, etc for 28 years, until he finally parked it in his garage in 1985 on his 40 acre property.
