anyone old enough to remember Little Nemo,.... well, is old as dirt - or well versed in American Comic strip history.... but that artist (Winsor McCay) also did some illustrations of cars in his editorial cartoons

Cartoonist Winsor McCay was best known as the creator of the incredible, legendary, Little Nemo in Slumberland, he was also the creator of the first animated dinosaur to appear in the movies, Gertie the Dinosaur, 1914.
