so, is that variation of the factory build technique?
Is it within the tolerance the manufacturer states is allowable due to variations in the parts supplied?
Or did they forget to install a bushing? A washer? Inquiring minds want to know
It looks like somebody must have removed and or replaced the box and just did a shitty job. Not all body shops are created equal, I know I've been there!
It looks like that. But I work at a dealership, and these were all fresh from the factory brand new. Right off the cargo ship, or railroad train, or whatever they use to get them to dealerships from where ever they are assembled. So, no bodyshop has touched it yet.
Of course as a former field rep I remember seeing cars arrive at the factory with different wheels on each side and/or different decals on each side, so who knows.

DeleteHere's my guess:
ReplyDeleteStandard cab with long bed
Extended cab with short bed
Standard cab with short bed
which does not explain the fender flair on pic 2!
