1971 Plum Crazy 340 drop-top Challenger pace car of Flemington Speedway did it's pace car duty, then was stuck in the racetrack museum for decades, but finally the race track owners son sold it and let it lose for collectors to acquire

The guy who now owns it had to buy it from the friend of the race track owners son, as that guy realized he could scoop it up cheap, and flip it for a ridiculous profit, to the guy who'd been calling to ask to buy it every couple months for years (the current owner) as he'd been at the race track all the time as a kid while his dad worked at the track.

  1. Saw a guy heading to work yesterday morning in the dark in a Plum Crazy 72 Challenger. Nice to see they're still daily drivers.
