A lot of motorcycles (as in over 50 cc) were made with pressed steel frames like the above, especially in the 1930s. After WW2 scooters like the Vespa were made with pressed steel frames, as were a slew of German motorcycles. Even the Japanese used such frames up into the 1960s.
