New York, 1966., promotion parade float for John Frankenheimer’s film Grand Prix. Huge photo, click on it for very large version, as Jack Brabham & Francoise Hardy are riding the float

  1. They all look so excited...

I have this movie on VHS Tape. It's a 2 tape Deluxe Letterbox Edition set. Sitting right by TV. Was going to watch over Christmas.

    1. that's the info with the photo, and 1966 was the year the movie came out.
I don't make stuff up, I just relay what I find... the links to where I find stuff will prove that.
So, what's the deal with the Camaro? I'll be damned, you are seriously sharp and observant! I don't have an answer, and I doubt I could find out if I looked into it.
But I think you're the guy I want for editor!

    2. https://macysthanksgiving.fandom.com/wiki/Grand_Prix correlates info, and also says 1966 parade. It has another photo, from another angle, so, the Camaro wasn't photoshopped in for a prank...

    3. Ah, Wikipedia states that the 1967 Camaro (can you hear my forehead slap from where you are?) first went on sale on September 29, 1966

  3. That appears to be Jack Brabham next to the car, with Francois Hardy on the top
