BaT cashed in, the founders of Pirate4x4.com sold out a couple years ago, and the site went downhill immediately, its now a shell of its former glory. you will see the same thing with BaT and petrolista once a huge faceless company buys em, it will soon be over run with pop up ads and a politically correct agenda.
I just looked up the Petroliciious sale, it didn't just come up out of the blue. It appears that the owner was a big Trump fan, which by itself is no big deal. However, he regularly advocated violence against "liberals" and it got increasingly aggressive towards the Black Lives Matter protestors. Apparently a number of people called him out and he was so embarrassed that he stepped down from the company and put it up for sale.
