1973 Ford Falcon XA GT Hard Top RPO 83 Manual Coupe one owner, was parked in 1988 in a small farm shed on the highway between Toowoomba and Brisbane and its owner refused to sell it. He's dead. 32 years of knowing he had a cool car no one else could have until he died make him happy. Not a barnfind, just a neglected rare car

  1. At that price we can hope it will be restored as it deserves, rather than get chopped up into yet another Mad Max replica

  2. Ton, its a collectors car with a very rare factory optioned tag. Only a complete idiot would Mad Max it. Mad Max cars are done from run of the mill coupes. This one will no doubt undergo a detailed restoration back to original factory specs and placed in a museum or someones private collection. I have been told it needs around 100 grand of work according to worker at Mustang Motorsport in Australia. A earlier restored Ford got a Million with a similar ID tag.
