Huh, seems they are unfamiliar with how lakebeds, vernal pools, and other wet spots dry on top, and crack, but are still soft and wet under that

  1. If your gonna get it stuck you might as well go all the way. Right down on the frame! Nothing like having a winch and nothing substantial to hook to

  2. I recall Boyd Coddington's motor-home stuck in the salt flats in 2007. Then the help came. https://saltflats.com/stuck.htm

    1. I find it very annoying when someone sends me a link to some other website when I covered the same thing, https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/02/remember-hearing-about-coddington-rv.html better. So, thanks for that slap across the face this early in the morning

    2. Jesse, I didn't intend any malice. I'm sorry and promise to limit my comments. I'm hurt that this offended you.

    3. I'm not offended, just annoyed when people send me links about something I posted... that's pointing out how they go to other sites to find something I posted. Are you going to show your grandma the cookies some neighbor gave you so your grandma can learn something about cooking oatmeal or peanut butter cookies?

    4. Well, I don't wanna be there if you do!
I didn't find any malice, and I have no problem with any number of comments, plus I wasn't offended, I just happen to be looking at the situation of getting sent links to things a very different way, like I'm not doing a good enough job at covering that topic, and when I can find a link to where I covered it, so can any reader that sends me a link to some other websites coverage of a topic
