ever heard of a Delmont 88 before?

  2. Sold 2 or 3 of them used, like a Delta 88 with a lower trim package.

  3. The Delmont was intended to be an entry level Oldsmobile, it was only offered two years, 67 and 68. It was the same as the Delta 88 and Delta 88 Custom, but without all the decorative trim and fancy interior, and the 330-cu.in. V-8 as standard for the 1967 model year; the more powerful 425 and Rocket 455 were optional.
    For the 1968 model year, the base engine in the Delmont was Oldsmobile’s 350-cu.in. V-8. A two-barrel 310 hp 455 was also available, as was the police package option that equipped it with a 390 hp 455.
