times don't change very fast, but, technology can evolve pretty damn quick. You just wake up one day, look around, and realize, no one uses Bias Ply tires anymore, and since the switch to radials, no one uses inner tubes any more either.

Bias ply tubeless tires came out about 1957 along with 14 inch wheels.
