  1. Best bet is a cobra .maybe a mk2 windscreen and doors match so does slot behind front wheel non standard hardtop. definitely not a Jaguar

  5. Hot Cars magazine was a UK Hot Rod style magazine. So most early 70s onwards given what looks like a 2nd gen F body behind it at a UK/AUS car show.

  7. The first Cobras were Ford engined AC Bristols weren't they? Maybe a Bristol.

  8. Hi Jesse. I wrote to Woolfe racing and they replied. Here's what they said:
    Not much history on this Cobra, I have been able to establish that the colour photo you sent was taken at Blackbushe in 1972. Alan Parker had bought it as a write-off and spent 1yr rebuilding it. It looks like an original 289 version with right hand drive. The original Shelby production were usually left hand drive versions re imported back into this country in the mid 60’s. Owner Alan Parker had our stickers on it because we were running product contingency support so if you won JWR would pay a bob or two..!
